Here it is. My top BB cream of the moment. It’s Clean Face Oil-Free BB Cream by The Face Shop, one of my favorite Korean brands.

The facts:

Oil-free
For all skin types
Good for sensitive/troubled skin
Light-Medium coverage
35 ml

From The Face Shop’s website:

A BB cream for bright and light make-up. Covers up skin troubles and freckles. Tested for sensitive skin.

From Sasa.com:

The Face Shop Oil Free BB Cream is a pore care BB cream that is specially designed for effective pore minimizing. Blended with natural botanical extracts, including liquorices, green tea, lemon, it mild yet refreshing, oil-free, helping your skin to have better control on sebum secretion while providing pore tightening effect to your skin.

The BB cream is of ultra light texture, blend easily with your skin, giving you the flawless nude effect you desired.

This BB cream has slightly grey undertones, which works fine for my skin. It’s incredibly lightweight, easy to blend and quickly absorbed. It also has a super fresh, clean scent, which I love. It’s refreshing and not overbearing.

The Clean Face BB cream has pretty sheer coverage. It’s buildable, but you aren’t going to cover any massive blemishes with this one. It does, however, do a wonderful job at evening my skin tone, and it does so without feeling heavy or oily. Yay oil-free! But does it stand the test of time? …Not so much. But nothing really does for me. My T-zone will stay calm for a few hours with this but then it’s off to Blotting Town, population: me. Still, I really really love this BB cream, and I use it more than any of my others–which doesn’t say that much I guess, since I try a few different new ones out each week. So I guess I use this one a few times a week also… it does good.

If you have super pale, easily burnable skin like myself, you’re going to want to put on some moisturizer with SPF on before this… which kind of sucks since that tends to make my skin even oilier. The price we pay…

And since I never seem to post finished makeup photos, here goes nothing. Clean Face BB, Ulta Cheek Tint in Tickled, Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Compact Powder Foundation, Too Faced Natural Eye Collection, Rimmel Glam’eyes Mascara, and Maybelline Color Whisper in Coral Ambition.

Anyway, the Clean Face line has a bunch of other products available, including cleansers, toners, lotions, and a bunch more. I’m really liking what I’m seeing with the BB cream, so I definitely plan to check more of these out.

Pros: Lightweight, great scent, OIL-FREE, affordable ($12 USD on Amazon, but I got mine on sale on eBay for about $8)
Cons: Light coverage, no SPF.

Final Verdict: Well, as you already know, this is one of my favorite BB creams that I’ve tried thus far. It’s wonderful on my skin and insanely affordable, even if you’re not in South Korea. Has anyone else tried this, or any of the other BB creams by The Face Shop? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
