Today I’m going to blather on about one of those weird mystery eBay products I tend to find. I’ve been looking for a medium-dark pinkish blush for some time now, and well, I’m cheap as hell. So hello eBay, my old friend. I’ve come to hunt with you again. Because
a vision softly creeping super affordable (yet of questionable quality and origin) Chinese cosmetics are beckoning. Lo and behold, I stumbled across this Efolar BB Blush Powder in #4 Matte Pink. This particular find is questionable because the eBay listing didn’t even have the brand name. Just “Ladies Make-up Beauty Blush Blusher Mineral Powders Link With Sponge Puff Blush”. Aw, bless. But ringing in at under $2 USD with free shipping? Come on. Even if it eats away my face, that’s a small price to pay to share my thoughts with y’all.
Yanked from eBay. Sue me. (Please don’t, I can only afford $2 blush.)

Ingredients: ??? (Probably mica)
To mention bright color!
It’s all Cantonese to me. Mandarin? I’d just say Chinese but someone yelled at me last time I did that. So touchy nowadays.
The parent company of Efolar is Shantou Testonl. What kind of word is Testonl? Tes-tonal? Test-on-L? I’ll go with that one because I’m L, and I’m the guinea pig.
What is this mysterious puzzle piece??????? I wanted to pretend it was something magical and symbolic but I’m guessing it’s just one of their logos. Let’s face it, I don’t know shit.
Fine silty, soft touch, effective modification of facial contour, skillfully covering skin problems, create a good complexion, so charming cheeks like a baby pink!
The container has a nice little mirror on it, for her pleasure.
The velour sort meticulous powder, bright makeup colourful, Show natural of stereoscopic feeling
… I can’t make this shit up. What I want to know is what translator they used, and what the hell stereoscopic means.
Despite not having heard of it, this brand seems to be solid, even having an English version of their website.
If you’re me, you will break this bitch as SOON as you open it. Sometimes I don’t ‘get’ things. Like opening containers. So I twisted or pulled or did something too hard and and BOOM. Pink powder everywhere. Lesson learned. Friends don’t let friends open makeup (without proper supervision).
Despite going into the cushion through the middle, this has a tendency to be concentrated at the sides of the puff. Like a magical pink donut.
I deliberately chose the brightest blush out of the 5 shades available, because I wanted some seriously pigment and a specific color. So you can imagine my complete disdain when I poofed it on my hand to get THIS. I mean, this is some pastel ringworm shit. No offense to pastel ringworm enthusiasts. It’s a nice color, but totally not what I was expecting, and SO LIGHT. I had to tilt my hand just right to catch the sunlight in a way to actually capture that on film.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t show up well on my face either, and this is after tapping it repeatedly against my skin to try and build up the pigment. If this is what the darkest color looks like, I shudder to imagine the wonder that is ‘Light Pink’. Get it together, Efolar.
Available in #1 Shimmer Orange, #2 Shimmer Pink, #3 Matte Light Pink, #4 Matte Pink, and #5 Matte Orange.
Pros: Convenient, soft applicator, fairly translucent if you like being invisibly subtle, hella cheap.
Cons: Messy if you break it upon opening (it happens to the best of us), fairly translucent.
Final Verdict: Cheap as it is, I probably wouldn’t purchase it again. I prefer my minerals to have more substantial pigment… but that’s just me. Hey, at least my face didn’t melt off. If you wanna check it out, you can find it on eBay for <$2 USD. Just search "Ladies Make-up Beauty Blush Blusher Mineral Powders Link With Sponge Puff Blush". Godspeed. Have you tried any Efolar products? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
